Located in Victoria's inner harbor the Point Hope Group is a dynamic organization consisting of United Engineering Ltd, Point Hope Maritime Ltd, and Island Plate & Steel Sales Ltd. The Group is involved in ship repair, heavy steel fabrication, machining/mechanical repairs and steel forming/burning. We are certified to ISO 9001:2000 and dedicated to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. We are currently searching for skilled, enthusiastic people to join our team.

Current vacancies are in the following areas:

Estimating - Experience in ship repair/steel fabrication/mechanical repairs will be considered an asset.
Engineering - Experience in "shop floor" drawing detailing, material take-off and scheduling will be considered an asset
Fitters/Fabricators/Welders - Trade qualified and CWB certified mandatory
Sandblasters/Painters - Trade qualified mandatory
Machinists/Mechanics/Pipe Fitters - Trade qualified mandatory
Apprentices – for all Trades only 2nd or 3rd yr apprentices will be considered.
